Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of the 1DAY platform and the bookings you make through it.
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the 1DAY platform and to bookings you make through it. By using the platform or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1DAY is the trading name used for this platform. The legal entity operating the platform will be identified in the applicable legal documentation once formally established. In this document, “1DAY”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the 1DAY platform, and “you” refers to the user of the platform.
1. About 1DAY and our role
1DAY is an online marketplace that helps you discover and book day experiences — including hotel and resort day passes, pool and beach access, spa and wellness sessions and similar leisure experiences — offered by participating hotels, resorts and venues (each a “Provider”).
We act as an intermediary that facilitates bookings between you and the Provider. The day experience itself is supplied by the Provider, not by 1DAY. Each experience is also subject to the Provider’s own terms, house rules and conditions, which are shown on the listing or at the venue.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter into a binding contract to make a booking, and you must provide accurate, complete information. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. Booking procedure
- Search for a destination, date and number of guests.
- Select a Provider and a day experience or day pass.
- Review the details, inclusions, price and the Provider’s terms shown on the listing.
- Provide your guest and contact details and submit your booking.
- Receive a unique booking reference identifying your reservation.
Prices are displayed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP). The price, inclusions and any applicable fees shown at the time of booking are the ones that apply to your booking. See the Booking Policy for more detail.
4. Booking confirmation
A booking is identified by the booking reference issued when you complete it. You are responsible for checking that the details of your booking — including the experience, date and number of guests — are correct, and for contacting us promptly if anything is wrong. Keep your booking reference; you may be asked to present it at the venue.
5. Prices, fees and payment
The total shown before you confirm includes the price for the guests you selected and any applicable fees. Payment options available to you are shown during booking. We do not store full card details on the platform. Further detail is set out in the Payment Policy.
6. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Each experience has its own cancellation terms, set by the Provider and shown before you book. Whether a booking can be changed or cancelled, and whether a refund is due, is governed by those terms together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Some bookings may be non-refundable, and this is indicated before you book.
To request a change or cancellation, contact us with your booking reference. If a refund is due, it is made using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
7. No-shows and late arrival
If you do not arrive for a booked experience, or arrive outside the times or conditions set by the Provider, the booking may be treated as used and no refund may be due, in line with the applicable cancellation terms and the Provider’s conditions.
8. Availability of Provider services
Availability, facilities, opening times and inclusions are set and maintained by each Provider and may change. We take reasonable steps to present accurate information, but we do not control the Provider’s operations. If a Provider is unable to deliver a confirmed experience, contact us and we will help resolve the matter, including arranging a refund of amounts paid for the affected booking where appropriate.
9. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking and contact details.
- Follow the Provider’s house rules, safety instructions and conditions of entry.
- Behave lawfully and considerately toward staff, other guests and property.
- Ensure any guests in your booking, including children, are supervised as required by the Provider.
10. Provider responsibilities
Providers are responsible for the day experiences they offer, including their description, delivery, quality, safety, facilities and compliance with applicable laws and standards. Your use of a Provider’s services is subject to that Provider’s terms and conditions.
11. Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong with your experience, please raise it with the Provider at the time where you can, and contact us with your booking reference so we can help. We aim to assist in resolving issues between you and the Provider fairly.
12. Intellectual property
The 1DAY name, brand, platform, and its content and design are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied or used without permission, except as needed to use the platform normally. Content provided by Providers remains theirs.
13. Acceptable use, fraud and abuse
You must not use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, or make bookings you do not intend to honour. We may suspend or refuse access, or cancel bookings, where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or a breach of these Terms.
14. Privacy and your data
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To make a booking work, relevant details are shared with the Provider you book with.
15. Limitation of liability
The platform and its content are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, and because the day experience is delivered by the Provider, our responsibility for the delivery, quality and safety of a Provider’s experience is limited, and any liability we may have in connection with a booking does not exceed the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer-protection rights. (This clause requires review by qualified legal counsel.)
16. Force majeure
Neither you, 1DAY nor a Provider is responsible for failing to meet obligations because of events beyond reasonable control — such as severe weather, natural events, emergencies, or governmental measures. Where such an event affects a booking, we will work with you and the Provider on a reasonable outcome.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you make a booking applies to that booking. We will show the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we make changes.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the market in which the platform operates. The governing law and the courts having jurisdiction will be confirmed in the final legal documentation. (Governing law and jurisdiction require confirmation and legal review.)
