Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 16 September 2026
1DAY is the trading name used for this platform. The legal entity operating the platform will be identified in the applicable legal documentation once formally established. In this document, “1DAY”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the 1DAY platform, and “you” refers to the user of the platform.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data we handle when you use the 1DAY platform. Please read it alongside our Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.
1. Data we collect
We collect data that you provide and data generated when you use the platform, including:
- Booking data — the experience, date, number of guests, guest details, and the contact name, email and phone associated with a booking.
- Account data — if you create an account, your name, email, phone and login credentials (passwords are stored only in hashed form).
- Payment-related data — records of amounts and payment status for your bookings. Full card details are not stored on the platform; card payments, where offered, are handled by a payment provider.
- Contact-form data — the name, email, optional phone, subject and message you send us.
- Technical data — limited technical information such as your device/browser and, for security and abuse prevention, your IP address.
2. How we use your data
- To process and manage your bookings and issue booking references.
- To share necessary booking details with the Provider so your experience can be delivered.
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
- To operate, secure and improve the platform, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
3. Sharing with hotels and partners
When you book, we share the details a Provider needs to deliver your experience — such as the guest name(s), date, number of guests and relevant contact details. Providers use this information to fulfil your booking and are responsible for their own handling of it.
4. Service providers
We may use trusted third parties to help operate the platform — for example, hosting, email delivery and, where offered, payment processing. They may process personal data only as needed to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the platform to function (for example, to keep you signed in). Any use of optional analytics or similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the platform, support your bookings, and meet legal, financial and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Booking and financial records may be retained longer where the law requires.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete data where appropriate. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. (The specific data-protection rights and processes that apply require confirmation and legal review.)
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — for example, storing passwords in hashed form and payment credentials in encrypted form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The platform is intended for adults making bookings. Where a booking includes children, it is made and managed by the responsible adult who makes the booking.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date shown above.
